GROOMING TIPS
Give your dog a bath every 4-6 weeks. Bathe them more frequently if you have an active dog.
Be sure to brush him or her before each bath in order to get all of the mats out of his or her coat.

Brushing your pet’s coat a few times a week will help keep their coat clean, healthy, and free from mats.

Clip nails at least once a month.
Buy a clipper designed specifically for the kind of pet you have. Either a scissor- or guillotine- style clipper can be used. Also purchase a blood- clotting powder.

Brush teeth frequently.
Your pet can get cavities and develop gum disease, so their teeth should be cleaned with a pet toothpaste about twice per week.

Clean ears twice a month and more often if your dog has droopy ears.
Ear care is an important part of grooming. Ear infections can not only be painful, but lead to permanent hearing loss. The signs of a problem with a pet’s ears include redness, constant scratching, head shaking and odor.
